Even Handed - March 2013
An exhibition about marriage
equality.
In each photograph, a black ribbon is worn on our featured champions,
denoting absence, or the loss of equal standing with regard to the Marriage
Act.
Like our champions, we exist seamlessly in a largely inclusive society;
living, loving, contributing, receiving. Our only real point of difference
being that our commitment to one another falls short of equitable recognition.
Nonetheless, we continue to live and love fervently, with dignity and in
relentless pursuit of the inevitable: the right to marry the ones we love.
